WHY WE DO IT
Many young athletes train too hard, too soon, leading to overuse injuries and burnout in one specific sport.
Movement patterns are neglected, reducing coordination, agility, and physical literacy.
Limited structured support for pre-gym athletes — those ready to train seriously but not yet eligible for full gym membership.
Knowledge of the “why we prepare” is often missed.

These issues are highlighted in evidence from Power Up to Play, which emphasises the long-term benefits of early functional training and conditioning for injury prevention and performance.

The benefits from early preparation and conditioning is well documented and research supports the work we do in Core Motion.

Our aim
Core Motion delivers age-appropriate S&C programmes designed around:
Fundamental movement patterns (squat, hinge, push, pull, rotate, run, jump, land).
Progressive resistance and mobility training suited to growing bodies.
Knowledge and understanding of Plyometric and strength training.
Injury prevention, using evidence-based warm-ups, coordination drills, and core stability work.
Performance education, helping young athletes understand how to train intelligently and recover effectively.
